Sadhvi Siddhali Shree is the Spiritual Director of Siddhayatan Tirth, the Chief Disciple of living enlightened master, Acharya Shree Yogeesh, a spiritual teacher, speaker and author. In her early life, Siddhali Shree struggled with depression, hopelessness, and anger after her mother died when she was 13 years old. Inspired at 17 years old she began her spiritual journey with the hope of believing, loving and knowing her true self in order to transcend and leave behind the negative view of life and herself.
Searching for inner freedom and truth and jumping between spiritual groups, she eventually met her spiritual master, Acharya Shree Yogeesh at 20 years old. Shortly thereafter, she was deployed to Iraq as an army medic to be of help to anyone that was injured during wartime. Seeing first hand the results of violence, war and hate, she was not only determined to find hope and happiness again in her life, but help the world find true happiness, too.
Upon her return from her 16-month deployment, she immediately enrolled in college and received her Bachelors Degree in Communications at California State University, Long Beach within only 2 ½ years. During college she worked as a marketer for a medical company and started her own small web design and video production business. Two weeks after she graduated, she publicly took her vows (diksha) and became a monk at 24. Siddhali Shree continues to use her education in communication and technical skills to develop and operate the Siddhayatan Tirth & Spiritual Retreat Center both online and offline.
Siddhali Shree is the author of “31 Day Challenge to a Changed You” and her upcoming memoir, “Happy by 30: A Life of Transcendence from Pain to Peace.” is due to release before 2013.
She passionately writes and speaks on spirituality, change and personal growth. And is known amongst her family, friends and peers for her playful, yet wise shining spirit.
