Fasting Retreat
Fasting is a method to help clear your body of built-up toxins, which helps a person become physically and mentally healthier. Each body is different therefore fasting is a unique experience to anyone who engages in it. Fasting under the guidance of a living master is very important, as the master is aware of what your body is capable of, how long your body can sustain without certain food, and when it is time to come out of your fast.
Those who participate in the fasting retreat have an option of having a fruit-only fasting retreat, juice-only fasting retreat, and water-only fasting retreat.
Before your fasting begins, you will have the opportunity to consult with Acharya Shree Yogeesh for the best fasting option for your body and what your body can handle. When breaking a fast, it is imperative to be under guidance as each body reacts differently to the intake of food. For long fasting retreats, a retreater will undergo a process of allowing the body to accept protein filled liquid, juice, then light to heavy food.
Many have have said their fasting retreat has increased clarity, will-power, and confidence, with an overall sense of "cleansing."

Silent Retreat
The silent retreat is your opportunity to help silence your thoughts, mind, and speech, to devote time to self-improvement, and your spiritual path. The silent retreat is designed by you. While at Siddhayatan, you are welcome to join in any of the daily activities, take a nature's walk, or sit by the ponds and meditate. Whatever you decide to do, its all for you.

It is your option to participate in the Silent Retreat, in which you will wear a plastic badge notifying other retreaters that you wish to remain silent from them, to deepen your own practice. You may speak with Acharya Shree Yogeesh if you wish to break your silence only for spiritual guidance.
