Where are you located?

Our retreat center is located in the town of Windom, TX, which is approximately 80 miles away from Dallas, Texas.

Can I come for a retreat anytime?

Yes, we are very flexible with our schedule. You can attend a Personal, Silent, and Fasting retreat anytime! For specific workshops please visit our calendar for scheduled programs; usually, workshops require a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday check-in.

For FULL flexibility, please select the Exclusive Experience upgrade which allows you to register for any workshop any time. In addition to scheduling flexibility, this upgrade gives you an exclusive one-on-one experience with the master.

As long as the center is open, the teachers are not traveling, and spaces are available, you can participate in an available retreat . If by chance spaces are not available, or the teachers are traveling at the time of your scheduled retreat or workshop, we will let you know right away.

What forms of payment do you accept and what is your payment policy?

We are a non-profit organization and kindly appreciate cash or check payments as we incur a 3% fee for each credit card transaction. We do accept all major credit cards, though. If a check bounces due to insufficient funds, the credit card used at the time of registration will be charged the entire amount of the retreat cost, plus a $20 check-bounce-fee within 10 days of the center receiving a bounced checked notification.

Do you require a registration fee?

Yes, we require a $100 deposit to reserve and confirm your program when you complete the registration form. This deposit will be applied towards your total retreat cost.

What happens if I do not show up or need to cancel my reservation?

If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible by email – – or by calling 903.487.0717. If you cancel your reservation, please note the following cancellation fees:

1. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking, your $100 deposit will be refunded.
2. If you cancel 8 days prior to your retreat, there is no cancellation fee. Your $100 non-refundable deposit will be saved as a credit towards a future stay if rescheduled within 90 days.
3. If you cancel between 2-7 days before your retreat, there will be a 50% cancellation fee, which can be used as a credit towards a future stay within one year;
3. If you cancel 24 hours before your retreat or do not show up to your retreat, a 100% cancellation fee is incurred with no credit.

The fee will be charged to the same credit card you used during your registration. The cancellation fee refers to the cost of the entire program/retreat that you registered for. Your $100 deposit is non-refundable. We highly suggest communicating with us to cancel your retreat at least 8 days before your retreat to avoid any fees.

What if I show up without a reservation?

If there’s space available, we may still accommodate you; however, you will incur a $100 additional fee for not pre-registering. We highly encourage you to register to save your space and program.

I don’t know which retreat I want. Can I decide when I arrive at the retreat center?

It depends on availability. When you arrive for your program, you can speak with the spiritual teachers about your situation and goals, and they can help you decide which retreat is best for you based on availability.

Can I change my program when I arrive at the retreat center?

If you signed up for a workshop, your participation has been taken into account and may have been a deciding factor to hold the program. If cancelling your program does not impact the schedule you will be allowed to cancel or change your program.

What time is arrival and departure?

Please plan your travels to arrive at Siddhayatan between 3:00 – 6:00 pm on the first day of your retreat. Check-out time is 12:00 pm on your last day. Check-in before 3:00 pm and after 8:30 pm will automatically incur a $50/$100 early/late check-in fee, respectively. It is preferred that you arrive at the latest by 8:30 pm.

What is the schedule of the retreat?

Check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. After you arrive on the first evening, you will have a mantra class at 6:30 pm followed by dinner. On the second day, you will have mantra class at 7:30 am followed by breakfast and one retreat class in the morning. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm. In the afternoon at 3:00 pm, after chai (tea), you will have another class. In the evening you will have mantra class at 6:30 pm followed by dinner. On the third day or last day of your retreat, you will receive one last mantra class at 7:30 am and your last retreat class after breakfast. Departure time is 12:00 pm. Any time between classes and activities is personal time.

What are my accommodation options?

We offer three types of accommodations: shared, half-private and full-private. All rooms are equally simple.

1. SHARED: Currently shared accommodations are not available due to COVID-19, unless you are sharing with a family member or someone from the same household. In normal times, the shared accommodations may include sharing a room with up to 7 other guests of the same gender, but more commonly up to two people, and sharing the community bathroom.
2. HALF-Private: The half-private accommodations include a private room with a twin bed, small table and access to a shared community bathroom.
3. FULL-PRIVATE: The full-private accommodations include a private room with a twin bed, small table, and a private bathroom.

Do you offer discounts?

Please sign up to receive our monthly specials. We offer an ongoing 10% discount on our 3-day workshops to students, guests 60 years of age and older, and military personnel and veterans (this does not apply to family members). This discount does not apply to our Personal, Silent, Water Fasting, and Exclusive Retreats. Restrictions apply. Please contact the center at 903-487-0717 for details.

What is your refund policy?

We do not offer any refunds. If you have paid in full for your retreat or decide to leave early, a credit will be applied for unused time and accommodations. This credit will expire within one year. If you wish to, you may transfer your credit to someone else as a gift.



What local places can I visit?

Bonham State Park, downtown Bonham; which has local antique shops, a beautiful, quick drive to Honey Grove; a small town that has a nice park and a town square, and Ladonia Fossil Park & N. Sulphur River.

What can I do during my spare time?

Most guests like to read, write and do their practices during the time in between classes. Please bring books to read. Some like to hike around the retreat grounds, visit our small ponds, sit under the trees, or walk in our forest. Please bring boots and wear jeans or strong pants if planning to walk around the forest. We have 200 plus acres of beautiful rolling hills.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, if you select the Full-Private pet-friendly option. There is very limited availability for this options, so be sure to call our office at 903.487.0717 to confirm availability during your retreat. Please note, that your pet must stay in the room during classes and meals.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking, drinking, use of illegal drugs, and animal products (beef, pork, poultry, fish, eggs, etc.) are strictly prohibited anywhere on Siddhayatan retreat grounds.

Is your retreat center a health spa or does it have a gym?

No, we do not offer a spa or gym, massage therapy or any other similar services.

In general, what should I expect when I come for a retreat program?

When you are participating in a 3-day workshop, you will receive 3 classes. Each class is approximately one hour. The time in between classes and meals can be used to practice the techniques and exercises learned in class, to walk the retreat grounds, for personal reflection, or relaxation and rest. When you come for a personal retreat, you have the option to participate in our mantra class twice daily with the remaining time in between as your personal time. When you come for the 7-day spiritual intensive program you will have at least 2 classes per day.

Who conducts the classes and spiritual retreats?

Most programs are taught by enlightened master Acharya Shree Yogeesh. Sadhvi Anubhuti teaches the Purnam Yoga, Yoga for Chakras, and occasionally Meditation, and Sadhvi Siddhali Shree occasionally teaches Awakening the Soul, Chakra Awakening, and Meditation.

What are my transportation options to/from the airport?

Airport shuttles and taxis can be expensive. We highly recommend researching your transportation options before you book your reservation. Here are some options past guests have used:

  • For flexible and reliable private transportation, please contact — — at —–. This car service is recommended for stays longer than 3 days, last-minute registrations, late or early flights, or if you require flexibility.
  • There are also car rental options, and often times good deals online. Please consider renting a car for shorter stays.
  • Other transportation service that you are familiar with such as Uber or Lyft.

Which airports can I fly into?

Dallas Love Field (DAL) and Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW) International are the closest airports. Both airports are approximately the same distance from our retreat center.



What items do I need to bring?

  • Comfortable / relaxing clothing – in the winter we highly suggest bringing warm coats and sweaters, in the summer light clothing is best. Do not bring short shorts or tank tops to the retreat.
  • Personal towel and hygiene items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Slippers/sandals, tennis shoes and/or boots
  • Notepad and pen to take notes in class
  • Flashlight for walking at night
  • A hat for the sun, or an umbrella for rainny days
  • A bottle water or thermos to carry water around the retreat
  • A shawl for meditation and mantra classes

What will happen once I arrive?

Once you arrive, you will check in, read over and sign our ashram rules and policies, pay for your program in full, and we will show you your room. At 6:30pm you can participate in mantra class, which is then followed by dinner. The next day your classes begin.

Is there cell phone / internet access?

Most cell phone service providers work great at Siddhayatan. Please turn cell phones off during classes, mantras and meditation. We do not provide internet access or wifi. For extended stays, we suggest bringing a device with cellular or satellite internet access if needed.

What if I forget something to pack, is there a nearby store I can go to?

There is a 24-hour Wal-mart that is just 10 miles along the road and local gas stations with convenience stores 5 miles away.

Can children come?

Very young children are not advised to come as we do not have a play center yet, or someone to watch them while you take your classes. If you do want to bring children, and they can remain quiet during classes, please call Siddhayatan to inquire, at 903-487-0717.



What kind of foods do you prepare?

We provide international vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Our fruits and vegetables are fresh and often times come from local farmers markets. We have our own milking cow so we are able to make fresh, homemade, all natural, and delicious cheese, yogurt, butter, ghee, and milk. We also grow some vegetables and fruits right here at Siddhayatan 100% organic and free of any pesticide chemicals.

I require certain medications to take daily, and special meal diets, does this affect my stay?

It is imperative that you inform Siddhayatan of any known medical conditions that may affect your visit and experience. For example: allergies, heart problems, physical problems, asthma, etc. Please bring your medication with you. In any case you need a prescription refill, a pharmacy is available 10 miles away. Siddhayatan is a very gentle environment and will not aggravate your health; however, if at anytime you are not feeling well, please let us know. There is a hospital 10 miles away in Bonham in case of an emergency.

I require a special diet, can you accommodate me?

We provide vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Sometimes we use dairy such as milk, sour cream, or cheese in our meals. If you have any food allergies, please let us know – we will be sure not to include those allergens when cooking. We can accommodate vegan and gluten free diets for an additional fee. Please be sure to mention this when you register.


Can I use my phone during my stay?

Yes, you can use your phone throughout your stay. We ask that you do not bring your phone to classes or if you need it for emergency calls to keep it on silence. We ask that you do not talk loud on your phone and that you do not use it after 10:00 pm so that all guests can enjoy quiet and peaceful time.

Do you offer WiFi

We do not provide WiFi at Siddhayatan. If you will require the internet, please use your data plan, bring an internet card, or hot spot for your computer.
