Camp’s TERMS & policies

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions relating to your child’s participation in camp, retreats, classes and programs (the “Camp” or “Retreat”) which is conducted by Siddhayatan Tirth (“the Organization”). By registering you Child for the Children’s Camp or Retreat at any one of our locations (“Centers”), you (the “Parent”) signify your acceptance of and obligation to these terms and conditions. If you have objections to the following Terms and Conditions, you should not register your Child for or attend any Camp or Retreat.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I, the Parent, hereby give my approval for my Child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by during Siddhayatan’s Spiritual Children’s Camp. I, the Parent, assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Siddhayatan Tirth and all its respective officers, agents, staff, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to my Child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to my Child, I hereby waive all claims against Siddhayatan Tirth including all teachers and affiliates, all teachers, all participants, sponsoring agencies, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities, including yoga. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the registered Child, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed. If no medical professional is available at the Camp or Retreat, I authorize Siddhayatan Tirth to take my child to the nearest Hospital or Emergency Room.

Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named athlete. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

Permission is also granted to Siddhayatan Tirth and its affiliates including Directors, Teachers, Staff, and Team Parents to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to the child’s admission to the medical facility.

Release authorized on the dates and/or duration of the registered camp. I, the Parent, authorize this release and is executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence.

Health & Wellness Activity Liability Disclaimer:

I acknowledge that yoga and yoga techniques are a physical activity and that my Child has no medical condition that would prevent his/her participation in this Camp or Retreat. I further understand that my child has the right to opt out of any physical activity that they do not wish to be a part of. I certify that my child is covered by a personal health insurance policy in the event of injury. I release Siddhayatan Tirth, staff, teachers, or other representatives from any liability for any injury sustained while my child participates, watches, or travels to and from the retreat center and to and from class.

Cancellation Policy

Once the Parent registers their child for the Children’s Camp, we make extensive arrangements and investments while anticipating their tuition and attendance, and, in the case of their cancellation, we incur significant administration hassles and expenses. Given this fact, if the Parent does not cancel their child’s registration under the following guidelines they will incur a cancellation fee.

  • If you cancel your child’s registration within 24 hours of booking, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee.
  • If you cancel 8 days prior to the scheduled camp, you will receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee.
  • If you cancel between 1-7 days before the scheduled camp, you will receive full credit, less a $50 processing fee, that can be used towards a future children’s camp within one year. The credit is non-transferable.
  • No credit or refund is available if you cancel on the day of arrival, if you do not show up, if you forget, or if your child leaves camp early for any reason. No refund will be available if your child attends camp and is dissatisfied with its presentation or content.

Siddhayatan reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. In this event, you will be given a complete refund.

Registration Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure the Attendee’s accommodations and program.

Rescheduling Policy

A Parent may reschedule their child’s participation one time within one year of initial registration using their credit received based on the Cancellation Policy.

Audio/Visual Release

By participating in the Spiritual Children’s Camp or Retreat, parents understands that portions of the events with their child may be recorded in video and audio and/or captured in still and/or digital photographs. Parent agrees that the Organization and its assigns have the right and permission to use such recordings and photographs should they include Attendee’s name, likeness, voice, biographical details, testimonial, or photograph for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose in any media or format, online and/or offline, now or hereafter without further compensation, permission, or notification to the Attendee. Parent understands and agrees that all recordings from the Organization’s events are the exclusive rights of the Organization and Attendee does not ask for or expect compensation for the use of recordings or photographs in which Attendee appears or speaks. Organization owns all rights to any audio, video, and/or photograph captured during the Organization’s Children’s Camp or Retreat or at any of the Organization’s other live events. To protect our facilities, guests, and environment and ensure safety, security cameras are used throughout the premises.

Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be used only by Siddhayatan to contact you about your program or send you updates by mail or email, and will never be shared or rented to third parties. By participating in the Camp, Retreat, Parent acknowledges and agrees that they are subject to the Privacy Policies of the Organization. Review and Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Attendee agrees that any dispute that arises out of or relates to these Terms will be resolved via non-binding mediation in the State of Texas via a professional mediator obtained by the Organization and if a successful mediation is not reached, to binding arbitration arbitrated in the State of Texas in accordance with the policies set forth by the American Arbitration Association. If any of these Terms of use are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms of use, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
